Formula One race car driver Vito Cesare returns to his family home in southern Florida to find it completely disheveled, by a landscaper, Christine Chandler. She claims that not only that she's been hired by his Uncle Giuseppe - who lives in Naples, Italy - but that she's temporarily residing there while the house is undergoing renovation. Right now, Vito has jetlag after returning from Paris, and he just wants peace - and quiet. An explanation wouldn't hurt either.

Vito is a very busy man, only home for his younger sister's upcoming wedding. It doesn't take Vito five minutes to realize the grand landscaping job, especially since he's going to be under the same roof with Christine, is nothing more than a grand matchmaking scheme set in place by dear, old Uncle Giuseppe! Vito patiently explains about his uncle's penchant for matchmaking, and that he is the latest victim. At first glance to Vito, it is no hardship; she's a veritable goddess!

Christine can't afford to further upset this GQ-dressed jetsetter any further. This current job may just save her fledgling landscaping business. Between apartments and broke, this job couldn't have come at a better time. A tremendous job, and she had a place to stay for at least a month. What is she to do with this new development?

Bothersome to both, theirs is a tug of attraction on both ends. Having been taken in before by a man, her guard is up against the incredibly sexy Vito. He tells her he's a racecar driver, and she knows nothing at all about sports.

With summer seduction in mind, Vito decides to act on the mutual attraction. He's certain he can get past at least a few of the boundaries Christine has established. A fling - fun, spontaneous, and they both walk away fulfilled and free.

Her Final Fling has a meaning behind the title, naturally. Lust turns into respect, while deeper emotions rise to the surface rather quickly for Christine and Vito. They each had powerful motivations behind their desire to keep their passion limited to a fling, yet they hold quite a bit of power - surprisingly - that proves a fling could never be enough for either of them.

Ms. Rock has done quite well this next book in the Single in South Beach series. Her Final Fling proves to be a quick, entertaining read. I'm eager for more of this series, as well as anything else Ms. Rock has planned for her readers. For a touching story, with a warm conclusion, be sure to pick up a copy of this delectable story by Ms. Rock.

In Revealed, by Joanne Rock, Jackie Brady, part-time singing telegram girl, is quite the risk-taker. Greg De Costa, general manager of a local Boston television station, is as button-up as they come in Jackie's book. Jackie figures for a woman like her who forges her own way in life, that he is too out of her league.

The sparks between Jackie and Greg are sizzling. But, one thing I really liked about Revealed is the fact that they developed a strong working relationship before acting on their sexual attraction.

What makes it especially hard for Greg is the way Jackie barrelled into his life! He is spellbound. But, they end up working together, which makes that old adage about not mixing business with pleasure become a deterrent in acting on their feelings.

You will love Jackie and Greg. Jackie is totally non-conventional, profoundly talented and incredibly warm. Greg is as sexy as all get out and a staid businessman who just needs the right push to find his wild side. Read Revealed and you will see how these two reveal their inner natures.
