Reluctant Smuggler will be read with eagerness. This final book in the To Catch a Thief series has drama, intrigue, deceit and the perfect touch of love and romance. Fans of this series will be pleased to follow Desiree Jacobs on another adventure into the art world, as FBI agent Tony Lucano joins forces with her. This time, the assignment is in Mexico, where priceless antiquities are being stolen. As Desiree gets closer to the truth, her relationship with Tony gets pulled apart. It's only after a careful assessment of the truly valuable things in life, that this couple is rewarded with treasures of a different kind.

Excellent writing and a realistic plot make this story seem as current as the evening news. Government intrigue, drug-trafficking and gangs enter the plot with power and purpose. Historic sites and ancient artifacts add an interesting and intriguing touch, layering the tale (and trail!) with genuine tidbits of information.

Desiree is a heroine readers will want to hug. Her intelligence and determination is wonderfully contrasted with her sensitivity and sweetness. As the owner of her company, she holds the reins tightly, but her Christian beliefs let her know when to relinquish that control to the One who truly holds all power. Desiree is a woman who jumps into a dangerous situation with both feet, trusting that her life is hidden in the perfect refuge of a loving God. Her relationship with Tony offers moments of quiet bliss and serious surprises, as readers get a view of the vulnerable side of this FBI agent.

From the exotic jungles of Mexico to the kitchen table at Desiree's home, there is a cord of Christian power and purpose holding these pages together. All you have to do is follow the Reluctant Smuggler to its satisfying conclusion.
