Deidre, a romance writer, moved from the cool weather of New York down to the sultry climate of Louisiana after a Writer's Conference where she met and fell hard for the local bad boy, Luc. After a year's marriage, Deidre still found it hard to get use to the hot days, sultry nights, the townspeople of Tyler Parish and being that Yankee gal who stole their beloved Luc's heart.

Deidre's profession as a writer and her introvert personality has kept her from trying to become friends with Luc's friends and family in Tyler Parish; while trying to meet a deadline had not had much time to spend with her husband Luc, which has put a big strain in their relationship.

Deidre's life changes after she is driving back home from delivering her finished manuscript to the local post office and gets stopped by the local sexy-as-sin Sheriff of Tyler Parish. Will Deidre be able to stand the heat? And what with her failing relationship with Luc? Will they be able to save their marriage?

The Cajun Sheriff is a sinfully hot romance story written by author Brandi Michaels. The storyline from the very beginning gets you caught up in the plight of two people who obviously love each other very much; they just need to learn to communicate a bit more. Keep a fan and a big glass of ice water nearby when you read this great story because the sex scenes are hot, very VERY hot. And the love and romance is one most of us search for most of our lives. This is definitely a story you can't put down until you reached the very end and one I recommend highly to all of you lovers of romance out there.
