Life Lines: Inspiration, Insight, and Wisdom for Daily Living is the title of Dave Meyer's motivating new book for Christians. Basically, the title says it all. This book provides short "lines", or sayings, and devotions that will enrich your daily life. Each one-page reading consists of a quirky saying, a Bible verse, and a short devotional. The book is broken up into sections, such as Faith, Character, Grace and Forgiveness, and Secrets of Daily Life. While reading through these inspiring pages, I was constantly thinking how truly amazing and touching these were. Dave Meyer has been given a gift from God to touch others and to help them in their day-to-day life with his writing. I am very impressed with Mr. Meyer's writing and will keep this book handy when doing my Bible studies, as it is chock full of wisdom, inspiration, and insight. (Just like in the title.) While I was hungry to devour page after page, I felt it best suited my study to ponder each page closely before moving on to the next. In order to gain the full benefit from this book, I feel several readings are a necessity, and I am positive I will refer back to this many times in the future. Few times in life do you stumble upon a true treasure of a book, but this one is overflowing with golden nuggets that will make you rich indeed.
