Decisions, decisions, decisions! Not a day goes by that we don't all have to make decisions. Most are about mundane daily things. Unfortunately, not all of them are simple. This is where Michael E. McGrath's book comes in handy.

This is not your ordinary self-help book. Each chapter is only a few pages long, and can be read in any order the reader likes. It is filled with entertaining stories and anecdotes that help to explain the different types of decision-making. The techniques and tips on how to make decisions are laid out very simply. For example, in 'Generating Alternatives,' there is a step-by-step guideline as to how to lay out all the alternatives available to make the best decision possible.

Being one who usually shies away from self-help books because many are just full of "feel-good" phrases, I enjoyed reading "DecideBetter!" I found many practical ideas that I know I can use in my life. I also found many smiles, as I recognized some not so great ways of decision-making that I have tried over the years.

If sometimes you feel like you need just a little nudge to help you in making decisions, this book would be a good resource.
