Gabriel wanted Malina and he would have her. Lucifer had approached him about training his daughter for the Protectorate, had basically given her to him, and assured her of her obedience. He didn't count on her stubbornness, her temper or her own passions. Will the might General of the Heavens, the great Archangel Gabriel win the heart of the one woman who can match his dark desires?

Gabriel's Match isn't for the faint of heart. There is plenty of violence as Gabriel and Malina battle each other for dominance. However, if you dare to get past their beating the crap out of each other, you'll find a wonderful love story of a broken angel and a caring demon. Two people who despite their differences could heal the other completely. Of course, both must face their inner beasts, pride, lust, and desire. Gabriel while lustworthy didn't hold my attention as much as Malina. She is a demon, yet understands more about forgiveness and absolution than Gabriel. In her heart, she understands she can't win Gabriel's heart unless she submits but her pride won't allow her to just give in.

Garrett's unique take on the realms of Heaven and Hell, Lucifer and God, angels and demons is a breath of fresh air. We see angels as not so perfect and demons who aren't entirely evil. An astounding beginning to what promises to be a captivating series, Gabriel's Match shouldn't be missed.

Heaven and Hell Book 2: Redemption

Something had to change. God knew it and Lucifer knew it. Malina had to follow her destiny and Gabriel was going to keep her from doing so. Although both hated to do it, the Deadlies, Wrath and Pride, were unleashed. Now they only had to wait for destiny to unfold.

Malina couldn't handle it anymore. No matter what it took, she had to make Gabriel understand she wouldn't stay with him unless he could love her. He had to acknowledge he cared for her more than a sex toy. That she meant more to him than that. She'd submitted, bowed her demonic nature, hoping to win him over and failed. No longer. She was going to be herself and heaven help those who stood in her way.

Michael knew better than Gabriel that Malina was exactly what he needed, but wasn't sure if his pride would allow him to give his heart to Malina. Oh well, it wasn't his problem. He had a mission to fulfill: meet with Gemma Joyce, the vampire daughter of Lilith and Remiel, and ensure Luc Seraph didn't bring about hell on earth too soon.

Easier said than done. Luc hasn't a clue about his heritage or the evil he could release into the world. Gemma is a prickly pear, but calls to Michael's heart. When Luc summons the powerful demon Baal to his aid, only Malina can prevent him from taking over the world. But it is the Archangel Gabriel who will decide the fate of millions. Can he accept forgiveness and find his redemption before Malina is killed?

If Gabriel's Match was good, Redemption is amazing! While Malina follows her destiny and Michael meets the one woman to match him, this is still Gabriel's story. The story of his redemption, of forgiving himself and realizing he has to allow Malina to love him and believe he is worthy of such a gift. Garrett depicts his struggle beautifully, weaving intense emotions with suspense and eroticism. Her world-building is amazing and offers an intriguing glimpse into the world of angels and demons where is nothing is as it seems. A definite winner!
