Prince Evander had been raised with the best of everything. He had three tutors, the best in the kingdoms to look after his mental, physical, and emotional health. So why was he sad? The king summons the tutors before him and demands an explanation. As the tutors for the mental and physical health declare him fit as far as their knowledge goes, the third tutor Willie Wraskel starts to worry. Out of the three, he is the only fraud but has done a great job the past eighteen years at pretending to be the most moral and ethical man. He had to think of something quick.

Using all his talent Willie managed to convince the king that his son Prince Evander suffered from "hole-in-the-heart" disease. The only cure was for the Prince to travel the kingdom and search for his heart's desire. Only then would the Prince be happy again. To Willie's dismay, he's ordered to journey with Evander and help him find his heart's desire.

Evan, as he comes to be called in his travels, is truly pure of heart and compassionate. Many weeks later, they see an old woman struggling to carry a sack filled with rocks and sticks. Evan offers to carry the sack for her and offers her some of their food once he learns she has none. Against Willie's grumbling they enter the old woman's cottage and find themselves in a beautiful palace and the old woman melted away into a beautiful woman. Evan's pure heart had freed her from an old curse. The lady offers to help Evan find his heart's desire and asks that he spend one night with her to be sure she isn't his heart's desire.

So begins Evan's erotic adventures. One mishap after another, all caused by Willie's greed, befall the travelers. While Evan has been enjoying himself, he has yet to find his heart's desire. As they cross the border back into their kingdom, will he find his heart's desire: a woman of pure heart whom he can love?

The Prince with a Hole in His Heart by Barri Bryan is a marvelous addition to the 14 Days of Fairy-tale Romance. Erotic and humorous, fast-paced and detailed, this story draws the reader, offering them a tale beyond their wildest imagination. All of the places Evan and Willie see, the things that happen to them and most of all the way their experiences change them make for a truly unforgettable story. I highly recommend you don't miss The Prince with a Hole in His Heart.
