The reader gets three for the price of one in Michele Bardsley's Immortal Curse-three very hunky vampires, I mean.
Over a thousand years ago, Viking warriors Alrek, Ulrf and Thorr grew sick of war and came to a new continent seeking a peaceful life. They found a dying race consisting of an old woman named Jantra-a blood taker-and her two daughters. In exchange for their oath to protect them, the old woman allowed the three men to share the love of her daughters. But tragedy soon strikes when raiders attack and one of the daughters, Aliea, is killed and the other, Delicia, is taken.
Blaming the men for their failure to protect her daughters, Jantra curses them to an immortal life without love as blood takers. For them, sex and love become bloodily intertwined because when they make love to someone, they must also take their blood and kill them.
A thousand years pass and all three men have become stone-cold vampire killers who have learned to suppress and forget all human emotion. Then one by one they are offered an incredible chance at redemption as they each stumble upon a woman who can survive a bloody sexual encounter with them and become their true mate. But before love can flourish, each couple must face a test. Alrek finds Charron, who wants only to die and welcomes his vampire embrace as the doorway to oblivion; Ulrf is given Roja as a sacrifice by her people, who hope to buy the vampire's protection and blessing, and when Thorr stumbles upon Mia in a graveyard she must convince him that she doesn't want to die, but instead is indeed his lifemate.
Good things come in threes in Immortal Curse. Brace yourself for three passionate stories, three couples destined for each other, and three red-hot sexual encounters. Michele Bardsley doesn't disappoint her many fans with this scorching tale of blood lust and love.
